Remote clients, path to video feed

I have a few different remote clients on Android and iPads that pull images from my BI server, is there any way on the BI side to determine what image path is being used to access a video feed?

Eg /image/cam_short_name

Some clients are quite sluggish and I'm guessing its because they are pulling high res images, I'd just like to confirm this is the reason.
