I'm been running Blue Iris for a few months now and all is going fine.
I've got a reverse proxy proxy enabling the MobileApp to connect but this also allows access to the BI website remotely.
I don't access the website remote and to improve security wondered if there's a simple way to block it or disable the website (which I think needs to be enabled for the mobileApp) but still allow the mobileApp to function.
Currently I'm blocking access to the default login.htm file at the proxy which seems to work without breaking the mobileApp but wondered if there's a simpler way?
I found this thread from a few years back discussing a similar ask.

Thanks in advance.

Remove www directory contents for security
I wanted to know everyone's thoughts on removing the contents of the www directory in the interest of security. The source of the login page reveals version info etc by default, the 404 response header returns BlueServer either way with version info. I've looked for a way to disable the web...
Thanks in advance.
