That'd last about 3 seconds at our place. When a 350 lb black bear wants it, not much will discourage it.. except a 10KV hot wire and/or 12 ga #4 shot. We can't leave trash bins outside. Has to stay in the garage, and we have to lock all doors at all times. Bears know how to open doors...
