Qustion on cameras digital input

Ok so I got a new camera I want to try somthing.
Will blue iris take motion snapshots from my camera and put it on blue iris if I'm using the cameras digital input settings on blue iris?

Blue iris can its own snapshots from the video stream just like the camera does. Digital input is not related to this, see help file.
