question regarding 2mp vs 3mp

Hi, Is there a noticeable difference in a 2mp camera vs 3mp during the day. I just hooked up a 2mp starlight turrent and the video doesn't seem as good as my old 3mp hikivision. Might be just me and also I haven't changed any settings in the camera. I know at night it will be better but just wondering about daytime. Thanks

There is no discernable difference...if you have the varifocal and it's zoomed out and your hikvision was 4mm that would explain it

Yes I do have the varifocal, My old unit was 2.8. I will play around with the settings. Thanks
