PTZ successor to this?

Hi All

I have one of these cameras - https://us.dahuasecurity.com/product/2mp-3x-ir-starlight-ptz/

It works quite well but its not as good as my 5231R in low light.

Is there a successor to this camera or something which improves the low light performance?

are you certain you have that model? its fairly new.

Im actually not. I thought mine is the 203gn its about 3 months old the one ive got from Andy. Ill have to check on it

It should perform similarly in low light...unless you are using IR..these mini ptz have weaker IR..

Yes i use IR. I get alot of halo around the image too using IR. Its not anywhere near as good ad the 5231r

The halo is either from IR reflecting back to the camera lens, or the dome is dirty.
With the same level of IR as the 5231, they should be roughly the same in performance.
