PTZ lag

Is PTZ lag normal when viewing remotely on the BI app? When moving my cams on the LAN, lag is sub second, but moving the camera remotely on either android or iPad app there is a 4-10 second lag from the time I press a arrow to the tine the cam moves.

Is there a way to reduce the lag when viewing remotely?

Probably, need to look at your network capabilities such as upload bandwidth. I have 30/5 and there is more lag when accessing remotely vs lan.

I notice it most on BI mobile..touching the screen in landscape is a painful exercise...I've already defaulted to just using presets when I want to play on mobile.

edit: FAST LTE, 40/30 is typical Home is slow dsl 12/3

Make sure your network is not saturated as well, I run GB everywhere and have no problems [except for our Telco`s lies about 3G and 4G performance]
