I'm using geo fencing on my phone to trigger a custom profile when I leave the house. The problem is that it switches back to normal after whatever I have set as temp time. There is a box labeled "until triggered." If that's checked, would that keep the profile turned on until I return home? I don't see where the "Until triggered" box is documented anywhere.

no, until triggered would keep the profile until triggered as the name implies.
You need to set the geofence to hold the profile
