Problem viewing Dahua camera via NVR software in browser

We have a nvr and several Dahua camera's.
Since recently the camera's start hanging when we are viewing 4 camera's in the browser using the NVR software.
We have tried this in several browsers, all have the same issue, CPU also starts going up. We have not had this problem in the past.
Anyone know if this is a known issue?

Using Smart PSS we don't have this problem.
We updated the firmware of all our camera's and NVR but we still have the problem.

The problem is however that we don't want some users to use the playback recordings functionality. We just want them to have the live view.
It seems that we can't block this in Smart PSS, even though we tried to limit functionality of the user in the NVR software.

Does anyone have an idea on how we can resolve this?
We tried looking for a simple IP Cam viewer software but were also not so succesful.

Possibly you’re streaming the full resolution main stream instead of the substream. On the NVR there’s a choice when you click on each camera on the left side menu tree…

Do you normally just run your sub stream while you are in multi cam view then once you click in to one camera it goes to main stream?
