Problem Installing Dahua Camera in Blue Iris

Hi. I am having such a hard time installing my new IPC-HDW5231RP-ZE. I was able to initialize the camera in the Dahua Config Tool but when I try to add it to Blue Iris, the software isn’t even finding the camera. What could I be doing wrong.

I am not a computer or networking guy so I don’t even know what other info to give you.

likely the camera is on a different subnet than your network. what is the ip address of your router? what is the ip address of the camera as reported by the tool? can you access the camera via browser?
