Pre record doesn’t work

Hi,

I have a 7616NI-K2/16P recorder with 4x DS-2CD2785G0-IZS camera’s. Now I have a problem. I have set pre record to 15 seconds but when I look back footage, the camera has only recorded after the motion started. Does somebody know how I can fix this?

What detection are you using? Regular Events, Smart Events, VCA (Video Content Analysis)?
 
my pre record doesnt seem to work either, i dont know how anti dither and record works either. all my videos seem to play back with 6 seconds of pre record ,then there's motion, then it cuts off, total time is around 22 seconds. i do know, i get about 30 snapshots of absolutely nothing and maybe 1 of a vehicle that passes by. if you figure it out or find any info on this let me know.
