pole mounting bullet camera

i need to pole mount a camera. the pole needs to extend around 2 metres from the wall horizontally. could somebody advise how i would do this and what tools/equipment i need also what time of pole to use (i've never done this before)

With a 2 m horizontal, that sounds like the size of a street light arm, such as
