Poe to poe without uplink port

I have a poe switch without uplink port and wish to connect to a remote poe, do I just make a crossover cable?

Any straight through patch cable will do. We have had auto crossover switch ports for ages now.

Yep, for over 22 years now, according to patent held by HP since 1998 for Auto MDI/X.

Also if your existing POE switch contains any non POE ports then you could use one of those also to connect to the new switch.
