poe ip ptz camera and possible improvement audio pickup

hey im trying to connect this to this Ptz camera, but on a semi-random note, I'm using an iMac with the single audio jack... does anyone know how I might be able to test this little mic by hooking it up and a mic input on this mac. i mean i think i see one female rca, and a male 12 volt, but is the third a female rca or female power?

not sure about your particular model, but usually is a “pass through” dc connector extension. The red connector could be power-in, while the black dc is the output, connected to the camera
