How far can one send PoE in a cat6 cable?

You can go a bit further than 100m just we really decent spec cable.

if you want to extend more than 100 meter .. use UTEPO poe switch .. 250 meters or GIGABIT SWITCH ..

The specs say 100m for ethernet cable length, including POE. You can go over 100m, sometimes quite a LOT more without fancy extenders, etc but it's a bit of a gamble. It's like the best before date on bread. Best before 100m, not bad after 100.00m. Some folks have had good luck up to 200m or a bit farther, but how far you can go depends on cable quality, your equipment, and a bit of luck, kinda like a gentleman's chances with a lady's mood at any given time...
