I'm a bit disturbed and frustrated trying to set up my new Starlight 5231R-ZE. After reading various threads, I installed Pale Moon browser (32 bit) and got to the point to install the plug in. My Internet Security went beserk with the following message...
Threat Secured
We've safely aborted connection with 192.168.1.108 because it was infected with Win32:Malware-gen.
Threat Name: Win32:Malware-gen
Severity: Low-Medium
URL: http:// 192.168.1.108/webplugin.exe
Process: C:\Progream Files (x86)\Pale Moon\palemoon.exe
Detected by: Web Shield
Status: Connection Aborted
So, where do I go from here. I initially tried using Chrome and went to use their plugin, but it did absolutely nothing.
Any suggestions as to how I can actually get to view my camera for the very first time.
As an aside, does anyone know why a plugin is needed to view a live feed from the camera in the first place. Why can't modern browsers just simply display the picture.
Very frustrating trying to get something to work that should just simply, work
