I am in the process of replacing several fixed (non-PTZ) Dahua dome cameras in a church with audio-capable PTZ cams. I decided to try the Hikvision PTZIP204WX4IR units. I have to say, I am very pleased with the image and video quality, so far. The only negative is that although the camera is audio-capable, it doesn't contain a mic onboard. I purchased an external Hikvision mic and made the simple 3-wire connection. No external power supply was needed for that mic - 12v is supplied by the camera. I still need to play with the settings a bit... the audio is slightly out of sync with the video, but not enough to be noticed by most people. I'll keep working on it.
