Playback issues with IE and Chrome

The setup is a Hikvision 8 port NVR and 2 Hikvision Cams. All connected by CAT6A cable.
When displaying on the NVR monitor or IVMS-4200 live view and playback is fine. However, when connecting to the NVR via IE or Chrome, although live view is OK, playback will not run. I receive a "long script..." warning, and it can take a minute or 2 for playback to display. Any ideas?
