play stored files hikvision on mac/iphone

Hi, is there a way to use a quicktime to play saved files. (h264 to 265+) Maybe changing the code for video or audio in the configuration for the camera?

or is the only option something like vlc player (which works)
I tried vsplayer too but it didn't work.

Is it the same for dahua camera's as well?

I just need the stored files most easily accessible on my iphone & mac, preferably with builtin apps.

to play stored short smart events, it seems being stuk to vlc

online converting (tip from this forum)
Online converter - convert video, images, audio and documents for free
which makes it compatible.
Both are not ideal

However I tried ds videoplayer. DS video player plays the files with picture, but the sound is not optimal with codec g711ulaw.
In settings it's possible to select another codec on the camera, maybe there's one that works oke then this is the best solution.

ds videoplayer from synology can convert too! And that fixes the sound for mac and iphone and with good picture. They play the file now as it should be it seems. Just drop it in photo's. Still a bit early in testing but that's looking great!
