Pendant cap for dome/turrent camera? How to mount?

My camera is current mounted to a horizontal beam, rear of the soffit for a porch. That beam is not wide enough for a flush mount of the turret. I cut our a circule for a 1/2" piece of wood that was a little larger than the turret and screwed it do the beam and then screwed the turret to the circle and that works fine.

I am interested in how I could use the PC140 to mount the camera to but am not sure how to mount the it to the beam.
