Anyone have any opinions on the:

which is currently $210 at Walmart?

There is also a 6 cam version with a 2 TB HD for $345.

Wondering if the system is good enough and whether I can use the wires from my older 640x480 based external system. Also wondering if the cameras can be tied into Blue Iris. Seems like it might be a cheap way to just replace the older cameras and DVR to get to HD without having to pay to have the wiring re-done or am I missing something. Opinions?

Dont bother with this type of setup...with bullet cams you have spider web issues, then you hope the DVR does not hickup when sending a bunch of streams to blue iris. spend the extra on running ethernet and look at this camera Dahua Starlight Varifocal Turret (IPC-HDW5231R-Z)
