I am looking to purchase an indoor Pan/Tilt IP camera and was looking into the Edimax IC-7113W 720P HD Wi-Fi Pan/Tilt. I am planning on connecting it wired (CAT6). The cost is about $129. Has anyone used this camera with Blue Iris 4? I'm also curious what people think about this inexpensive PT indoor camera?

1) you are generally better off with a wide angle fixed lens camera that can cover the entire room without the need for pan tilt. You will cover more area 24/7.

2) if you insist on pan tilt, this amcrest camera uses dahua firmware (though its sold by the same folks who import foscam so beware)...

Both are better choices than the edimax

Thanks fenderman. I am going to go with the 2CD2420F-IW 2MP Indoor IR Wifi Cube Camera 2.8mm from Nellyssecurity. I am going to use this camera to cover my front door and living room from inside.
