Old PTZ camera DS-2DF1-401H grey rectangles on the screen

Hi everyone,

I bought a used camera because of the PTZ and optical zoom feature. It has web interface, IP services and old PAL/NTSC output as well

After the initial setup I noticed that on fixed places of the RTSP stream thre are non transparent grey boxes. They have different size, some are overlapping each other. I checked every setting. Cleared image settings, reset, seached for privacy mask but nothing is enabled. If I rotate the camera the boxes remain on the same position, maybe the size is changing a little. Looks like a software feature not a hardware issue. Is maybe the CCD broken?

I tried changing the resolution, framerate but it had no effect.

Today I plan buying a BNC connector and connect with it to TV to see if on that output option are also hidden parts.

Did anyone had the same issue?

Those squares could be privacy masking that has been setup in the camera.
See if you can find where to turn that off.

You are right, there is an option just not in the option group I was looking for.
Restore image didn't change.

In the Motion folder/privacy masks I unchecked the option and all the squares disappeared.
