Offsite Storage

Hi Guys,

First time poster, Blue Iris Lover. I have a HikVision IP camera connected to Blue Iris. I have motion alerts enabled. I would like a way to have the clips saved to an offsite cloud storage account (for extra security)

Motion Alert > saved file automatically saves on the cloud storage system.

I have changed, what i THINK will do this. Under general options,

Clips And Archiving and changed the path to my Dropbox folder from my PC. is this right?


Any help would be fantastic.

Yes, if you save your clips in the Dropbox folder, they will automatically upload to dropbox. As with any offsite storage, this will require quite a lot of uploading if you have very many motion alerts, so if your internet upload speed is slow you may want to see if you can upgrade it.

Thanks. My internet isn't too bad. My camera is on driveway at a back of a house. Maybe 4 triggers a day?
