Hi all,

So this may be a strange one. At the end of April I have to record a yearly conference, in the past I've used USB webcams and they were meh. This year I thought about using IP cameras with POE.
So my question to the group is, what is a decent camera that will do RTMP or RTSP, I would rather RTMP to get rid of the delay but will settle on RTSP if I need to.

I'll be using OBS for recording, and audio is coming from something else so the cameras are just for video. Might need max of 3 or 4 of them.

Okay - any help on room size & camera positions? Do you need PTZ or static cams?

One other note - you will need to sync the video feed with the audio even if RTMP - the separate audio feed simply will not dub over the video feeds perfectly (unfortunately) but it can all be handled in OBS.

A handful of us use IP Cams for church services, conference halls, etc.

PolycomX50. Can easily be found on eBay. We install these puppies in conference rooms all the time for business. $1200'ish or more though.

I figured some others were doing the same and I had already figured out the audio sync
