You don't say what brand camera, but it's possible the camera can't handle two streams at the same time.
You do understand, you don't "need" 20fps, 10-15fps is sufficient.

And what about the I-Frame ?

I seem to recall some time back someone here advised settings Iframe, FPS, and bitrate the same on both MD recording and Continuous recording...I know I have mine set that way with no issues...
