Not sure why this happens. Car in scene seconds later vehicle disappears without recording motion prior. Dahua IPC-HDW2831TM-AS-S2 with Dahua NVR2116

Had this happen once before but can't figure why motion does not get recorded. Vehicle in scene and seconds later vehicle gone without recording of individual walking up to car or even moving vehicle.

how many seconds of Pre-trigger video buffer are you set at?
I'm at 11 sec on some cams due the unique location and camera selection and trigger settings.

Using BlueIris at work but this is my home unit which is working with a Dahua NVR and Dahua cams.

with the motion options in the Dahua NVR.
anything you can find, to up the pre-record time would help.
