Nosey neighbor?

That would have been where my eye is drawn to. But no, he sees a small turret cam and goes apeshit over it. I wonder if he didn't see me install it, would he be so fricken worried about it?
My guess is they didn't mind the other cameras seeing they are looking away form his property. He might have had an issue just didn't trip out about it because the cameras were not facing his house. Now with the Turret under the roof pointing at his house he thinks you want to watch him lol I guess he has been doing something for a while and never worried about your cameras until you pointed one his direction lol.. I took mine down but after catching some car prowlers a block away using one of my older Analog PTZ that had really good close up after I was alerted my neighbor and I no longer get along. Because my camera was facing his house and he could see when I showed him close detail of the Perps on this street past his house he got all bent out of shape. A Few months later I took the camera down and put up a Fence shield on my back deck that has PTZs on it so he can sleep better at night lol.. Funny thing is the Shield can still be seen though if I really wanted too but I don't and his house was never an area that I have/had pointed my cameras.. Even gave him free a couple of Amcrest cameras I don't think he ever put up lol.. Couple of years ago he said everyone has an issue with my cameras lol. Kind of funny they all ask if I don't mind keeping an eye on their homes when they are away longer then a weekend and even if only the weekend.. I mean sure have more then my share of cameras lol..
Someone would lose their hands and sight over this. Then they wouldn't have to worry about seeing a bright light
The turret camera has been there since 2020. I just recently replaced the Lorex that was there with a Dahua varifocal 2mp to test if it had enough zoom to zoom in tight to the cul-de-sac to recognize people and vehicles as they pass. Camera is in the same location just turned more toward the middle of the cul-de-sac. If it had more zoom and better night performance, it would be perfect, but it doesn't.
The location really needs a B54IR-Z4E to get the FOV I'm looking for. Have to wait until the cash becomes available. Then he can lose his mind again when I replace what's there now with the B54IR-Z4E

I'd put a big ugly PTZ right near that light.
Or a B52IR-Z12E at a price I can't resist, which is on the way. Let's see what he does when I swap out the cam with the B52IR
I have an asshat like the OP's, right next door to me. He has been over at my house probably 6 times in the couple years he has been there, bitching about anything he can figure out a way to bitch about. I've ignored him, he even went to the local zoning people, they couldn't do anything because I'm not breaking any rules.
Now he just glares at me whenever he is outside and I am too. I just walk around whistling when he does. You can see the smoke......

Ignore him, maybe even add a couple cameras that don't work anymore - put them on a fence pointed in the proper direction, mount them in the crook of a tree, have some fun!

Don't people realize that when you show what buttons make you put on a show, they'll be pressed so much that they'll be worn out? I love entertainment
Just like there's people that get bored with peace and serenity that need constant drama that they usually bring on themselves, there are people that are infatuated with the sound of their own voice, especially with it's bitchin' about something that is either none of their #$%^ business or it's out of their control.
