Howdy from Texas,
I bought Blueiris and am slowly learning the UI. Got my analog dvr to connect and have added the single IP cam we have. We will be going full ip over the course of the year, probably filling up a 48 poe switch in the process. Using a Legion T5 as the windows computer. Looking into an external drive bay (usb-c) to buy and populate with large drives. We currently have about 36TB in space but that is all for the analog dvrs (2). The old stuff is all LTS brand.

Several pros and cons with that endeavor, you might want to read this, although the most common speed that USB-C connectors are rated for is 10Gbps. (10Gbps is theoretically twice as fast as original USB 3.0); YMMV ==>> Anyone used a USB 3.0 connected external Drive for Video storage?
