I have 4 Hikvision 2032s and a just got my 7604. Previously, I was running using a POE Switch and a Windows 7 machine as the server. What I would like to do is connect something like this.
Cams > POE Switch > Main Switch <------ NVR
When I connect the cameras directly into the NVRs POE ports, I get live view on all 4 cameras just just fine, and without need for configuration. However, I want to place the NVR itself in my office and just connect it to the switch. Meaning, the POE switch would provide the power and patch into the main switch. When I connect the 7604 like this, it can "see" the cameras on the network, but it gives me nothing but "No Link" on the live view.
