Hi, I have new Hikvision DS-2CD2142FWD-IWS camera (ONVIF).
Also, I have no branded wifi NVR with 4 cameras.

The camera connection to my NVR is successful.
When I start searching that camera on NVR, camera not show up.
I think that I don't know set my camera settings maybe.

I tried login my old camera and use that settings on my new cam, but not working.
I try change that 2 cameras (last 4th channel) on same addresss („192.12.12.130“), to use that address on my new camera, which address I added in WLAN settings, but it is a same.

Not camera update found yet.

Also, I can connect on my router successful, and working. But not on NVR.
My old camera have ONVIF "port". So maybe NVR can connect with onvif..

I sending pictures of my:
-old camera settings
-new camera settings of LAN and WLAN
-wifi settings

Welcome Dany

I am still learning, so I can't help much on your particular situation. A lot of members here prefer to avoid wifi and unknown brands of products due to compatibility and reliability issues, so you may have less people watching for your particular question.

In case you get curious and want to learn more about ip security cameras there's a lot of good information here.

It's easy to get swamped with information here, so I wanted to share some notes with you

Please check out @giomania 's notes:
Dahua Starlight Varifocal Turret (IPC-HDW5231R-Z)

I have also made notes which are a summary of a lot of the reading I've been doing here,:
Looking for some advice and direction!

Have fun joining us here.

Is the rule that all cameras must can be connected trought lan cable and working?
Why I don't have picture trought lan cable?

Hi Dany,

Is it PoE switch you are using?

Hi,
actually, manual says "Network interface-conector for LAN".

Hi Dany,

How are you powering the camera?

Thank You

Do you know what IP address the camera picked up?
Yes Mat.
On picture above you can see that my new camera have address 192.168.1.64.
But if I set DHCP (automatic) it is same, nvr can't find camera (lan or wifi, same). Can't picked it up.

Maybe my DNS adreesses are not set good, getaway, IPV4?

It is too strange that I was connected nvr with camera successful and I can't find camera in searching IP... :-/
Because that reason I think it must working..

Hi again.

But, now i can't join my old camera to that NVR. That nvr have onwif and private protocols (Private have my old camera too). So, please help?

Have you tried performing a reset of the non-branded cams, one at a time, while hooked up to the new NVR?

Now I tried reset camera to factory settings and connect via Lan cable, no results.

Do you remember what IP addresses the cameras default to?

192.168.1.18.
After reset show that adress. That must be default address, i think.

HI Dany,

Were you able to find a web interface on that IP?

I searched with programam IP scaner and found that address, which are show in my network settings of camera.
