New Purple Drive, Move files.

Been using an external hard drive for BI folders. Adding a WD Purple drive to the PC to use for BI. Can anyone advise the correct way to move what is on the external drive to the internal so I can still access the clips successfully. It can't be as easy as drag & drop can it?

rebuild the database after moving the files.
