Any reviews/views on Ezviz's new product?

I currently have a dumb, battery operated doorbell. Was considering changing it to a DB1C but reluctant as it involves drilling a hole into wall and a bit of wiring.

I already have a regular wall light so this might be a welcome replacement. I don't expect it to cover the same functionality.
Would I be able to view via my Hik NVR when connected to local network?

Hi, did you have any response or solution for connecting to your NVR? I'm also searching for an answer if it does RTSP or better ONVIF protocol. Hope to hear. Thanks.

Few "smart" devices will stream RTSP to a LAN device since they involve scanning a QR code or entering a UID number with their app and therefore utilize P2P, meaning the video goes up to their cloud server then back down to your smartphone or tablet.

Hi yes, streams and records to my NVR. Just need internal IP address and the camera activation password. Can’t recall what protocol it uses.
I have however noticed water ingress when it rains a lot.

I also own a DB1 doorbell of EZVIZ and works also with app and QR code to register. But i have a password code (somewhere) and can stream RTSP to my Hikvision NVR. Hope this can also be done with the LC3…

like this:
rtsp:/admin:SECURITYCODE@192.168.1.138:554/Streaming/Channels/101
rtsp:/admin:SECURITYCODE@192.168.1.138:554/Streaming/Channels/102

I wonder what happens to that video stream when you disconnect / disable the Internet? :idk:

Can confirm that Ezviz LC3 works also with Hikvision software; NVR and iVMS software. Just use admin and security code.
Happy with Lamp and Camera only super super downside is Wifi. Works fine in test setup in living room (3-4meters from Mesh Wifi) but after mounted outside on the wall the wifi strength was only 2 bars of 4 and connection wat so bad it was not acceptable. Very frustrating...
Finally have a solution to place an TP-Link Power Line adapter with Wifi acces point <50cm from Ezviz behind inside wall. Now 3 Wifi bars (of 4) and a good stable connection.

I own also an Ezviz DB1 doorbell with the same problem. Think Ezviz has terrible wifi hardware...

I'm having the same wifi issues. It's frustrating! Could you share your solution with the TP-Link power line adapter? How is the wiring look like?

Hi, see photo. Left inside house I have connected a Wifi powerline on main power grid (via flexible cable does work for me) and is connected to main network.
The WiFi powerline adapter is configurated as WiFi AP with different name as my main WiFi network. LC3 can connect to Powerline WiFi AP.
For this you need an WiFi Powerline adapter of course. I use TL-WPA4220. And in my other Powerline in fuse box closet I use a TL-PA6030 and is connected to main network.

so
Main network - Powerline - Powerline WiFi - LC3
