I just received my 2nd IPC-T54IR-ZE camera but the web interface appears to be the old v3.

System VersionV2.820.15OG004.0.R, Build Date: 2021-07-29
WEB VersionV3.2.1.1082162
ONVIF Version20.06(V2.9.0.979397)
S/N7L00E1EPAG0B511
Algorithm Version1.0.3
Security Baseline VersionV2.1

The first problem beside the fact this FW is 3 years old, is I can not find the model name for this new camera. It looks identical to the 1st camera I bought but how dow I know?
I am looking for an updated FW but when I try to upgrade with what I believe to be the latest I get an invalid file error.

The downloaded file (IPC-T54IR-ZE-S3 ) came from 5 Series S3 Firmware - Dropbox
The 2 files included in the download archiveare:
Empiretech IPC-HX5XXX-single-Riemann_MultiLang_NP_Stream4-CustomPro_V3.100.15OG000.0.R.231127.bin
and Firmware.bin.

Both these files generate the invalid file/format error.

How do I get this camera up to the same level as my first camera?

You will not be able to upload the S3 firmware on the older GUI.

So it sounds like your first camera is the S3 and the 2nd one isn't?

You need to upload with the firmware for that GUI that does not have S3 in its name

The problem is I don't know what this model is. I cannot find that info in the v3 web interface. Without that I dont know what FW I need to download.
BTW: What is Smart IR and None Smart IR??

Your thread literally starts with "I just received my 2nd IPC-T54IR-ZE camera but the web interface appears to be the old v3."

To me that means you have the grey/black GUI and thus you have the T54IR-ZE or commonly known as the 5442-ZE non S3 model.

It the Camera GUI is blue/white, then that is the new GUI S3 version

Smart IR means it is firmware that offers Smart IR (the IR will adjust based on the closeness of the subject to try to prevent washout of a face when it is close) and the None-Smart IR is the firmware that doesn't offer than feature. To some that feature isn't needed if the object is beyond 20 feet from the camera.

I ordered both from amazon. The 2nd camera was ordered by clicking the "Buy Again" button on my first order. I had no reason to assume this 2nd camera would be any different

Unfortunately what I suspect happened is someone with an older camera bought a new one and "returned" it with the old one. If you bought from Andy, I would let him know so that he can have Amazon investigate it.

Yup. I am sending it back. BTW: I did get the FW upgraded but when I look at both cameras the 2nd camera shows IP Camera for model. Unlike the firsdt which shows IPC-T54IR-ZE-S3
