Was fine tuning my new NVR5208-4KS2 connected to a 4K monitor and everything was working perfectly displaying output from 4 2K Starlight cameras. I simply changed the default 1920x1080 NVR video output to 4K 60fps output just trying things out and found that was a really bad thing to do. There's no HDMI video signal at all now and I can't get it back.
Rebooting didn't help. Connecting to a different 4K monitor didn't help nor did changing high-speed HDMI cables. Connecting a VGA cable wasn't even recognized by the monitor (hoping the NVR would automatically downgrade the video output over VGA).
Connecting via IE and installing all those unsigned(!) plugins does work to get to many NVR functions, but the web interface doesn't provide any way to change the local NVR video output resolution that I can find.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get the display working again? Or is a hard reset and re-registering the cameras from scratch my only option?
Thanks!
