Nature's IR cleaner

More than likely. We get them around the house and try to stop the dog from eating them. Keeping insects under control without chemicals is always ideal.
Yeah, we have 5 small lizard hunters here as well, unfortunately for the blue-tailed skinks, anoles and fence swifts.:idk:

My girl is quite the hunter. The wife had grabbed her by the collar to stop her from getting at an anole one evening. But she slipped loose and her horrified mother had to watch! lol

My boy has very limited sight (he was a street dog and was hit by a car leaving him blind from his brain swelling) and just wonders what all the fuss is about!

Have you considered rotating that camera to corridor mode?
It would capture more of the hallway.

Initially, it was in corridor mode. It's a lower-end cam (2431-S-S2) and WDR is removed as an option in corridor mode. I need WDR during the day as there's a high amount of contrast between the sunny and shady areas.

Also, my VTH can't rotate images so it's displayed rotated if I pull it up on the VTH. I looked like my dog with my head tilted sideways! lol

It's on the list to be moved much further down and/or replaced with a cam that can do face detection.

Thanks for suggesting it but my neck can't take the abuse! lol
