NAS/SMB not working with B5442E-Z4E

Hello, need help setting up SMB/NAS with B5442.

I have the following setup:




also tried the below for NAS:


Cannot get this working for either SMB or NAS. I'm able to access those directories when tested with PC file-explorer or logging onto the machine to make sure the path is correct. Saving to local sdcard is working ok.

Have never tried this but wouldn’t the remote directory for SMB be the share name and not a full path?

Thanks IAmATeaf for tips.

It turns out that the username/password is not used properly and hence it does not work. When I disabled authentication on the server and allowed "guest" login without username/password NAS and SMB work! security hole to use that feature.

It might be special characters in the password, try setting the password to something simple as a test with no special characters.
