Hi!
I spent all day on this!!! My cam has a loose barrel jack - the anode pin in middle fell out!! So I traced the center + to it's pin, transverse arranged to jack (odd), and the neg... Well, some detialed ass soldering finally got wires on those pads from the bottom where the pins went thru and theres some solder lumps. I took razor and scraped off everything on top so I saw only green. Held desoldering braid on it into the holes. Flip side (bottom), ran razor in between the pads i soldered. STILL SHORTING! + and - were seperated! I repeated all those steps again, still short.
I get mad and cut out the section with snips.... lots of photos,
Anyhow - how to i get power to this now... Ground is easy, ill just use the shield on the CF reader... where do I put the +5V?
