Thanks for reading this. Just hope someone has ran into this problem before and may have a solution:
I downloaded & installed the most recent Blue Iris demo (11/3) to use with an IP POE Camera. I run into an issue where when I set motion based recording, the software will only trigger this when the settings window is open. When I close via the “Ok” or “Cancel” or “X” menu options, all settings will fail to activate, e.g: I will not see a snapshot of the moment motion was detected nor will a video file be created.
My various settings:
Motion Sensor enabled
Object Size / Contrast set more so on the left
Mark / Hot Spot disabled
Do not highlight motion
No trigger settings selected
Under the record tab:
Create an alert is checked
Create jpeg is checked
Pretrigger is checked
Combine or cut is checked
Schedule tab is default.
