Monoprice cameras

Just curious if anyone ever tried the monoprice camera here. 2.1MP Turret IP Security Camera, 1920x1080P@30fps, 4mm Fixed Lens, True WDR 120dB, 1 Matrix IR LED up to 100ft - Monoprice.com


Has a 1/2.8 cmos and at 130 price seems alright, then again you can get the dahua @170.00

40 more $$ just curious if anyone tried it . They seem to be hikvision rebrands but I’m not finding a 1/2.8 cmos in hikvision line for 130.

They are hikvision cameras...you are way better off with a hikvision or dahua low light camera for that kind of money..that is a fixed camera, you can get a dahua fixed turret for 100-125...

FWIW - I just got an email from Monoprice advertising that they added '50 new security products'. From what I can tell, they added a bunch of new IP cameras as well. I'm not good at recognizing them by sight, like many of the much more experienced people here, so I'm not sure what brand these new ones are.

Most of them look to be Hikvisions.
