Can you put a POE midspan in line with an NVR POE port? Will it hurt anything?

I have done it with ZERO issues, Your Midspan Uplink is not asking for power so the port ain't giving it to em, Cannot speak for The Hik NVR but a Dahua NVR I would have to manually add the cams by IP Address to work, they will not auto show through the switch for some reason. I just ended up giving them Static IP's on the other side of the Midspan.
