Nobody else asked, so I will -- Were you trying to catch the marten, and if so, why?

In Denmark, the marten is a pest, and often seeks into our attics where they destroy insulation, so this little guy is too close to our home, I have launched a Catch and Release

You need to send this to the manufacture, they need to release a v2 that does't allow opening fro the inside

If you zoom in and enhance the screen capture of the Marten's front claw you can see it was making a gesture to the cage after the escape.

I don't think that is a gesture to the cage. I think it is a gesture to the camera!
