Mark moving persons.

Hello everyone,

I've been wanting to find a setting to mark moving objects in recordings for some time now. I keep seeing videos in which a moving person is circled with a colored square.
I have not yet found a setting anywhere that activates something like this.
I use the camera from the forum here: IPC-T5442T-ZE
And a Synology NAS.
Does anyone have any idea where I can activate this?
 
If you use AI/IVS like Tripwire or Intrusion zone, and select filters for Human/Vehicle, these appear
Typically you'll see them live on the camera, or NVR, not sure how/if Synology handles them if at all

Oh that’s BI

Dahua cams/NVR do it natively without any setting changes. Just by enabling an IVS rule with a filter
 
I don't think the OP is looking for the BI motion hightlights as they said they are using Synology....

They are looking for the native camera ones, which only shows up in the camera GUI or NVR and cannot be passed to a 3rd party application.
 
I don't know if I'm too stupid or if it really doesn't work...

I am not in the Synology now, but on the web interface of the camera. I have tried a lot of settings, but objects are never marked with squares. Can anyone tell me in which menu item I can set something else?

Try Internet Explorer, yeah we know lol, but it is still available.

These cameras are browser sensitive and not everything is available in other browsers.

It should then have in the bottom left hand corner and icon to turn IVS rules on.

Speaking of, you need to be using smart plan and IVS to get the boxes, not Motion Detection.

It will only put bounding boxes on things it thinks are targets per the filter. And It may need to have "record" checked.

Also you are missing controls due to the browser. You need to use IE or Edge in IE mode. Sorry. This may have something to do with your bounding boxes which is there is a control on that screen to turn IVS on and off on the live screen

I have already tried all browsers. Internet Explorer, Firefox.

Which tools do you use
 
There are no tools, it is literally using the correct browser.

When using the correct browser, you will have access to other options.

In Internet Explorer I see all of these icons on bottom left. The highlighted Orange one turns on the boxes you are looking for (it is off by default).

Your image is only showing one of those boxes.

Also, make the min object size 0,0 and let AI do its thing. I think your min object size is too large.


This thread shows how much can be missing if using other browsers.

Who uses Dahua AI capable cameras? Reliable AI for triggering events? Pro's/con's?

Ghrrr I don't know what to do. I have tried all Internet browsers and no additional symbols appear.... Could it be that my camera can't do that? I bought this one from Andy in the forum. The camera was very popular with users at the time. Perhaps someone can tell me something about this.... I have two of these cameras and the objects are not framed on either of them. If the camera can do this, it must be due to the setting.
Is there another application for using these cameras? Maybe something official from dohua?
The company updates have also not been carried out for several years. According to the camera, the software is still up to date. I can't imagine that. All other devices get at least one update every week...

Current version is 2.800.15OG004.0.R, Build Date: 2020-10-19





This can't be right?

Your minimum size seems to quite large being set at 4715*4741. Set it to 0 * 0 at first to see if it'll detect the object.

SmartPSS Lite will show it (the bounding boxes)

It really doesnt mean much. You'll get tired of the novelty in a week. Its just highlighting objects that are in the view that may match a filter (human, vehicle) and may activate a trigger IF they cross the IVS Tripwire or Intrusion box

I wonder if its a function of the Dahua NVR?

Once you have the IVS rules (blue), vehicle bounding boxes (yellow) and human bounding boxes (teal) it gets quite busy

maybe you can show your settings in the camera. I have now set it like this. But unfortunately nothing is recognized. Perhaps an SD card needs to be inserted?
What do I have to do with draw rule? Draw in the whole area?

and the problem with the icons in the live view still exists. I do not see the icons in any Internet Explorer. I have already tried IE, Firefox, Chrome, Opera... Only one icon is displayed everywhere.

I just realized that I can't use IE. whenever I tried to open internet Explorer, Edge opened and you can't see the icons.
