Lts NVR linkage

Hope I’m not posting in the wrong place. I am having some issues with motion events with Hik connect app and Lts nvrs. Have two nvrs. Both LTS, and I’m pretty sure they have the same version of software. One nvr was installed maybe 1.5 years ago. The other was in the last 6 months. Have them both connected to Hik connect app through the cloud service. All settings on both are the same. I have the motion events in playback (red lines on the timeline) on the newer one, but not on the older one. Do not have ddns configured on either nvr. Only have the cloud service enabled. I do have motion enabled under events, and grids set up. Don’t really know what I’m missing here. Any help is greatly appreciated.
 
Sorry not sure I understand? Are you saying one nvr is recording event and other isn't? If that's the case need to make sure your storage is setup for events and not just full time? Know you said setup the same but easy to miss it. Might be it was setup for day installed but other days not the dame easy to over look.
 
Sorry for the long message. I’ll try to explain in more detail. No everything is the same in the nvr settings. I am viewing the cameras from Hik connect app. When I go to playback on the newer nvr on the app I have the motion events( red lines in the timeline that show motion) on the newer NVR. They don’t show on the same app with a slightly older NVR. We triple checked all settings are the same across both NVRs. At least in network, event, and record settings. Both NVRs are on continuous recording. It’s just an extra feature to see motion events in the app on the playback timeline. Shows as red lines the same as on the nvr. Both are connected to the app using the cloud service. Basically they want to be able to watch the playback on their phone with the motion events. Only shows up with one of the nvrs though. We are having this problem in other locations too. Same NVRs. Some locations we set up the app through the cloud service and it’s just already there. No further setup needed. Can go to playback and see the red lines where there is motion. Other locations with the same nvr I have no motion events on the timeline in the app. Everything on the NVRs settings are the same. Unless we are missing some setting that just turn it off or something. Can do it directly on all the NVRs and can get the notifications part to work on all of them. It only some don’t have the motion events on the timeline in playback on the app.
 
I have noticed it only seems to be the newer NVRs that it is working on. I’m not 100% confident about that yet though. There could be other differences, but so far only the newer silver face Lts nvrs seem to work with that feature. At the same time. I do think we even have a few of those that aren’t as well. Which makes me think it could be a setting. It could be only a feature added with a newer software update. I can’t find any definitive information on that though, or really any at all. Just thought someone in a forum or something may have ran across this too, and maybe found a solution to get it to work on NVRs with older software. If that even is the issue. In the case today the only differences I found in the software was on the smart events under events settings. The older one has no enable slider and few other little differences on that page. The newer one had an enable slider, but at the top where you choose a channel. It was like greyed out and said no channel available or something along those lines. I wouldn’t imagine that has anything to do with it though. Seeing it is the newer nvr that has the feature working.
 
All the motion event settings seem to be under the normal event section in events. It’s there where you turn on/ off motion, set up the grid, etc. That’s where the notification linkage settings are too. It’s almost like there is another setting somewhere else that turns off the feature where you can see it on the app. That’s the only difference I’m having across all mentioned NVRs. Can see motion lines in playback on the app with some. Not with others. All have it in playback when viewing directly with a screen plugged into the nvr.
