Lost past alerts

My BI PC locked up so I held the power button down until it shut off. When I powered on BI has lost all of the past alerts. I checked the HD and the video files were still on the HD in the NEW folder but I couldn't access through Blue Iris's alerts.

Alerts are simply pointers to the video file and are not really files.

You can try a compact and repair and see if that restores it, but if your system decided that the DB was corrupt and rebuilt the database, then the alert clip images/pointers are gone. But you still have access to the full files, just cannot pull them up based on alert triggers.
