Gave up SightHound altogether, essentially no support, can't add cameras at all on Big Sur and the last beta was on 3/22/21. Now have a Camect on order and will continue to use Security Spy as a Mobile app for when I need to keep an eye on things when not here.

Well, SH does launch and will, under the "Add Camera" option allow you to start adding the Camera, but will not complete the process (I run Dahua and Hikvisions both already on the Network and visible on the Browser web page, Security Spy, and others.). SH does "see" the cameras, but can't add the feeds, so basically of no use.

I agree. SH has made many promises of upgrades but they are always extremely late and fall short of expectations. There's no excuse why they don't officially supported Big Sur after all this time. I've given up on them as well, but will continue to use it until it breaks or better software is available. I like the ability to quickly scan certain object types, and SH seems to be the only option for Mac.
