Lorex Cameras on Dahua Recorder?

Hello all,

I have all Lorex Cameras (LNB8973, LNB9232 and LNE8974).
I am currently using a NR9163 Lorex NVR.

I am looking to upgrade my NVR. I am interested in the Dahua NVRs particularly the NVR-608-32 or the NVR5832.
I know Lorex is Dahua, but I am not sure about compatibility and functionality.

Would I have Full functionality on Lorex cameras with the Dahua NVR?
Do I need to upgrade Settings? Firmware?


Update:
Lorex says the cameras are ONVIF profiles S and T.
Dahua says the NVR is ONVIF 2.4

That is all I could find...

I just want to make sure I can still Zoom, switch to IR mode and motion detect works properly.
These are good cameras that I have a lot of.
I would like to keep using them.
 
Hi! I just made the switch to a Dahua NVR with the Lorex cameras and they work great! Still have access to all of the settings
 
It depends on what OEM Lorex goes with. If Lorex uses Dahua cameras, which I know they do, often you can use Dahua firmware (but you will want to confirm model specs being updating at your own risk, etc), and gain access to missing feature with Dahua firmware
 
I went with the AI model, but from what I've read about it, as long as it is the ONVIF models it works. I have 1080p, 2k, and 4k cameras. When I took the Dahua NVR apart, it actually looked almost identical to the Lorex NVRs that I've had in the past.
