Line motion detect

I am reading in some other posts about certain model of camera where you can set up a trigger line so whenever an object across that imagery line the camera trigger a motion detect

I forgot what that feature is called and what model camera is that feature available in?

hi, it is called '' line crossing detection'' can be found at configuration - smart events. Not available on all models i think.

Pretty much every Hikvision IP Camera AFAIK.

Cool so even the 3MPs ones then? I thought it was only available in the newer 4MP ones.

I am looking to purchase several cameras but I wanted it all in English version which mean buying it from USA dealer and 3MP prices seem to be dropping with the 4MP cameras coming out.

Yes even the 3MPs. Try Nelly's or milkisbad.
