Lens size recommendations for this area of my house

Hello Gents
I am looking for recommendations of the lens size for this area of my house, I took a picture with my phone and where I am standing that is where I want to install the camera is about 40 feet to the gate, I want to be able to capture face a lots of detail .
Any comments would be appreciated.

Here are two shots of people at about 42 feet. These are from a Dahua B5442E-Z4E (8-32mm varifocal). The first one is at 28mm equivalent while the second one is at full zoom of 32mm equivalent.
