Laptop using wifi wont get BI

I use to get BI on my laptop, (using it away from home) but, when I tried using it recently, it didnt work. The only thing I can think of is, I was using wifi to operate my laptop.. Do you think thats the problem?

How are you trying to use blue iris remotely? The webserver? If so check your external ip address.

thank you for getting back with me.. Not sure what I did, but, its fixed. Im thinking I had some kind of firewall applied.
